Abstract: Child domestic labour is not a new phenomenon for Cambodia as well as our world. However, this problem is still hot and very interesting subject for researchers and government policy makers to put it in the consideration. Basically, child domestic workers can happen because of parents who sent their children to work outside their home for economic purpose. In this research, we will describe the background of migrants who work in domestic labours and reason behind these migrant workers in Sangkat Orussei IV which has a larger concentration of self-employed shops in Prampimakara district, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Moreover, the living and working condition of child domestic workers will be studied in this research as well. The third part of this study will focus on how child domestic workers access for help and support with family, neighbor and protection agencies in case they face problems. As a result of this study, most of child domestic workers in study area have low education level with age ranged from 12 to 17 years old and the main reason caused migration was poverty. While being as CDWs, they are scolded at by their boss, cannot access school, lack of proper health care, not enough sleep and not enough food to eat which impact in their health status. All of them have never contact with local authority or child protection agencies these can cause by lack of information on available services. Finally, some recommendation aiming to improve the living and working condition of child domestic workers, reinforce the relation between girl child domestic workers with local authority as well as to discourage child domestic workers is provided in this research study.
