Abstract: Although rehabilitation services aimed to promote and develop the quality of life of physically challenged persons (PCPs), only limited numbers of them were accessible and used thoserehabilitation services. The objectives of this research were to examine accessibility and affordability on type of rehabilitation services, to assess satisfaction on rehabilitation services provided, to evaluate economic and socials benefits gained from rehabilitation services, to identify problems and needs, and to give recommendations to improve rehabilitation service for PCPs in Thailand.Selaphum Integrated Services for Disability Center (SDC), located in Selaphum district in Roi-Et province was selected as study area for this research. PCPs included sight, hearing and mobility disabilities were selected. The benefit assessment was evaluated from four types of rehabilitation services, which were physical, mental, educational and occupational rehabilitations.An evaluation research was applied in this research. A survey design was primarily applied to assess the benefit gained based on the perceptions of PCPs. A survey questionnaire with a total of 117sampled PCPs was conducted as a prime method for data collection. In addition, field observation, key informants interview and focus group discussion were applied. The research was focused primarily on quantitative analysis with the support of qualitative approach.Main findings of this research were found regarding the difficulty in access to information and in traveling to receive rehabilitation services. PCPs used the services from physical and mental rehabilitations more than educational and occupational rehabilitations. The mobility disabilities used the services from SDC more than other types of PCPc.Overall, respondents from PCPs were satisfied with all areas of services provided by the center.
