Abstract: The effects of social and economic situation of the Persons with Disabilities by the rehabilitation project services provided by The Leprosy Mission Myanmar was evaluate in this research. The general objective of this study is to evaluate the socio-economic effects of the Disabled Rehabilitation Programmes (DRP) on the persons with disabilities (PwDs)that were conducted by the project ofThe Leprosy Mission International in Myanmar to assess the socio-economic effects ofrehabilitation project services on PWDs, to assess beneficiaries’ satisfaction level on rehabilitation project services, to identify associated problems and potentials of the rehabilitation project services on PWDs andto give suggestion and recommendationfor improving the performance of the project activities.Ayeyarwaddy Division and Pathein Township were selected purposively according to the criteria in the selection of study area. For a questionnaire survey, 100 sampled PWDs household were selected in four villages of study Township. Both qualitative and quantitative analyses wereused for this research data analysis. Most of the secondary data were collected from The Leprosy Mission Myanmar headquarter and Pathein Disabled Resource Center, the branch of The Leprosy Mission Myanmar.The major findings of this study in the positivechanges and satisfied of the beneficiaries of disabled persons by the supportive services and rehabilitation. However, the mobility and accessibility score of PwDs was not much satisfied by the statistical data. In education aspect, the inclusive educations for school-aged disabled children are neededto be promoted.
