Abstract: The study has described the relationship between the migrations remittance and women empowerment with socio-economic impact of the respondents on analyzed with women empowerment. In a percentage of GDP Nepal is one of the highest remittances recipients in the world. The limitation of the study on socio-economics impact of remittance on rural women migrant villages of in Kalika and Majhathana VDCs in Kaski District from Western part of Nepal. The study is based on 50 female respondents which include 20 in returnee and 30 is current migrant and questionnaire survey, key informants and study conducted with this migratory household have leads to some influences regarding to the migration, amount of remit money, use of money and increase the women empowerment on the basic of remit money. The women migration and remittance has become increasingly common as poverty alleviation and empowerment of women. Migrating women had brought many aspects of their families and community to pay the value and respect through the contribution of women income. The result shows that remit money is highly dependent upon salaries of migrant, education, training and destination of the countries. Remittance had changed the value of women in household and community in order to compatible women in decision making power. In most occurrences, remittances were sufficient enough for consumption of daily needs in households and rest of amount were used for education, investment and other purpose. Hence, the migration and remittances have increase the purchase power and help to decrease the poverty in households. Along with the study it helped to observe the gender division of labor focusing on the new gender role against the traditional gender roles.
