Abstract: This study has demonstrated minority LGBT people who have limited right in expressing their gender at workplace, which results to various sorts of stigma and discrimination against them. Sexuality, cross – dressing and LGBT’s cross – gender norm behavior are taken as bases of violence included sexual harassment, emotional violence and economic violence. The research was based on interviewed approach adapting qualitative approach which data collected were analyzed and interpreted into qualitative information. The sampled respondents were self – identified lesbians, gays, bisexual and transgender who already experienced and currently experiencing stigma and discrimination concerning their gender. Data were collected basically via interview with key informants and individual respondents. Descriptive approach and qualitative data analyses were applied in this study. Main findings had found that social stigma and discrimination does not expose as formal type in term of institutional level, it is more an interpersonal type of issue, which translate into negative interaction, harassment and humiliation against LGBTs have not been acknowledged, therefore some people may force to live life b y hiding their identity in order to maintain their position at workplace and follow the social ascribed conduct. This study explored further on diverse stigma and discrimination experience, which people encountered in different sector and how individuals cope with issue they faced at workplace. Gender neutral and equality are expected as ideal workplace for LGBT. Discrimination at workplace against LGBTs is influenced by social and cultural attitude between people in society.
