Abstract: This study investigates causes for women to become homeless. The study findings highlight factors: domestic violence economic difficulty personal reasons such health problem. These factors are linked intricately. Reasons for women to become homeless are often multiple and not only by single cause. The domestic violence includes childhood abuse physical assault by partner emotional abuse and sexual harassment. Economic difficulties that leads to homelessness include: long period of unemployment and family’S financial crisis. The socio-economic structure is shape their other personal reasons for becoming homeless including not being able to access healthcare services when they are sick After they are homeless, they experience different types of violence, including physical violence, sexual abuse, harassment, dire poverty, becoming victim of blaming, threats from robbers, additional health problem, and social stigma/discrimination that prohibit them from accessing social services including healthcare.
