Abstract: The urban land system of Thailand has evolved over a Long period. The system has been created by successive government through their laws and organization. It also includes the current government policies, programs and activities within that system concerning the development and use of urban land. The study has two aims: first, to identify, outline and broadly assess the urban land system of Thailand and second, to outline and discuss the urban land use planning system of Thailand and provide some suggestions for urban land development.
