Note: A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science, School of Engineering and Technology;”This study is an attempt to examine the possibility of amalgamating the traditional cooperation patterns with modern cooperative. The study is based on the quantitative analysis of data collected from four Mubans in Tambon Khlongnoi, Amphoe Pak Phanang, Changwat Nakorn Si Thammarat. The study is divided into three parts, traditional cooperation practice among rural people, modern cooperative practice among the farmers and the potential for amalgamating the patterns of traditional cooperation with modern cooperative. The findings show that the prospect of amalgamating modern cooperative and traditional cooperation is not very bright.”
