Abstract: The study analyzed factors influencing farmers in the adoption of integrated farming and examined the benefits of integrated fa1ming to fa1mer’s livelihood as well as the effects of the promotion and extension program of the integrated fa1ming provided by the government agency. Through this research, the feedback of the adopters and their perception on the integrated farming and the problems and constraints in the integrated farming was obtained. The research was conducted in the rolling plain (Kut Bak Sub-district) and the upland area (Sang Kor Sub-district) under the land reform area of Sakonnakhon province in the Northeast of Thailand using a household survey questionnaire as a prime method for data collection. The research was applied both quantitative analysis and qualitative technique. Farmers in both areas obtained several benefits from the integrated farming covering economic, social and environment aspects, which were influenced the adopters. In the rolling plain, seven factors were influenced the adopters including water availability, farmer’s experience, income level, farm environmental condition, level of innovativeness of farmers, government support and market accessibility. For the degree of adoption, it had an association with many factors comprising of farm pond ownership, accessibility to irrigation system development, the pruticipation in the promotion and extension, the capital suppo1t by GO, satisfaction of the increase of wood, the farm environmental condition, food sufficiency and in crease of income. However, the degree of adoption was dependent on farm pond ownership, the satisfaction on farm environmental condition and accessibility to capital support by GO. In the upland area, eight factors were influenced the adopters including the government support, income level, farm environmental condition, market accessibility, water availability, education, gender and farmer’s experience.
